Weekly Roundup: Uplevel Your Mindfulness, Marketing, and Messaging Game

Greetings Reader,

It's National Grief Awareness Day. Grief is love that remains unsaid. Grief for loved ones who are both still with us and those who are no longer here. Grief for the loss of an unborn child, survivor's remorse, and even the grief over a relationship that has ended. Grief is valid for the person that you used to be as well. It's okay to grieve your old life as you transform into a new one.

If you're looking for more inspiration, I invite you to listen to two previous episodes of my See Life Different Podcast (formerly known as the Living Legacy Podcast).

Master Your Inner Peace with Iyanla Vanzant Episode 76

Find Your Purpose and Manifest with Danielle Faust Episode 42

What I'm Watching

I’ve enjoyed watching singer/actor Tyrese Gibson's latest press runs on video podcasts. He drops a lot of gems about all areas of life. I had the pleasure of photographing him ten years ago when he was an award recipient in Atlanta. He’s the real deal. The same person online and offline. His interview garnered 1.6 million views in 24 hours on Club Shay Shay Podcast and was #1 on YouTube. He has a new movie in theaters called 1992 and a new album called Beautiful Pain where the lead single is the end track to the film. Check out the two hour interview if you need something to listen to over the Holiday Weekend.

Threads App is on the way up while Twitter/X is on its way out being banned in various countries (such as Brazil) and having frequent outages. They introduced analytics/insights so you can get a sense of what people are viewing. The algorithm is good for connecting you with posts that are relevant to topics of your interest, especially when you begin to reply to those kinds of posts. If you have not joined already, you automatically get a following of the people who joined who already follow you on Instagram. Read more on their original post:
