Weekly Roundup: The Countdown Begins! Join Me on September 14 and 17 to Uplevel Your Marketing and Messaging Game

Greetings Reader,

Today we are two weeks away from moving from Tulsa, Oklahoma!

We officially scheduled the internet and utilities to be cut off at the apartment! When the time is right I’ll do a Why I’m Moving from Tulsa Live Video. After that, it will be a two week time period to my old stomping grounds in Florida. Until then here is a podcast episode I shared on why we moved to Tulsa:

What I'm Watching

I’ll be watching the Paralympics Closing Ceremony on Sunday on Peacock/NBC followed by the MTV VMA Awards on Wednesday (rumor has it that Brandy and Monica are making a rare appearance together).

I enjoyed this solo podcast episode by Hello Seven by Rachel Rodgers, Author of We Should All Be Millionaires. It is an educational piece on lessons learned from not so smart investments as well as the things women of color experience in this world and why it’s okay to pivot (even relocate internationally for sanity): Click below to watch:

Personal Branding and Marketing Tips

For the next 28 days focus on one type of content to post. For the next 28 days, focus on one social media platform (or one scheduling app that allows you to send to multiple platforms). Watch the video where I had three mentor sessions with entrepreneurs in the sports industry, medical industry, and the digital marketing industry while at the Black is Tech Conference:
